CAROLE BERNEY On September 22, 2001, at St. Boniface Hospital, Carole Berney, beloved wife of Sheldon and mother of Dawn Adrienne and Nancy Lee. After a long, bravely fought battle against breast cancer, Carole spent her last days peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Her love for her husband and family - especially her adored six grandchildren - was fully and joyfully returned. They will continue her loving ways and will remember her forever. Caroles determination and strength of will, with the support she received from family and friends, helped her beat the diseases heartless odds and enjoy precious time that might have been denied her. Her family will always be grateful for the expert, compassionate care she received from all of the professionals entrusted with her well-being. Carole is survived by her sister Lovey; Sheldon; Dawn Adrienne Berney and her husband Christopher Geggie; Nancy Berney and her husband Dr. Julius Erdstein; and her adoring grandchildren - for whom she would move mountains - in order of age, Molly, Martina, Tanya, Eli, Simone and Cleo.
